I would like to recommend this Uni brand called Ogawa Shoten (小川商店), especially their 200g range.

It’s crazily good. 😂 Honestly, the Uni may look a little messy and not the prettiest in the box, but the quality and taste are really top-notch. One of the best I’ve had!

Whether it’s their Bafun or Murasaki Uni, both may look messy, but the taste and quality are superb. Definitely don’t judge this Uni by its appearance!

Freshly arrived 888 Uni is estimated to land at around $50–$55 per 250g tray, compared to the $110–$130 range we have been seeing over the past few weeks.

Even better, quality is expected to improve significantly as harvest locations have shifted, bringing in sweeter, creamier, and more consistent batches.

It has been quite some time since we last saw truly attractive uni prices, and this could be one of the best buying opportunities in recent weeks.
