Maia is a private AI assistant I built directly into Telegram.

You can tag her and ask something like "/m what does he mean here" and she'll actually read the context of that specific conversation and explain it back to you, but only when you ask, she's not sitting there reading everything by default. You can ask her to transcribe a voice message (yes amharic) and she will.

She also connects to other apps you want like Notion, your workout app, sleep apps, calendar, whatever you throw at her. I've hooked her up to a few of mine, and I can just type something like

/m how have my workouts been? and my sleep? what do you recommend I do

and she'll pull together the data from both, put it side by side, and actually give me a useful answer. Nothing about that is technically new, we already have integrations that do this. The difference is it's happening from inside Telegram, in the middle of a normal chat, instead of me having to open a separate app to get it, and that feels natural.

I built this as a concept, but after using it for a couple days it genuinely feels like the next step for AI in day to day chat apps, an assistant that's actually built into the conversations and tools we already use.

I hope telegram adds something like this in the future, until then I'll be using Maia.

The ML Roadmap is finally live.
When I started learning ML, the hardest part wasn't the math or the code. It was not knowing what to learn next. I ended up learning everything I could find, and honestly a good chunk of it I never use. Along the way I kept notes on the parts that actually mattered, and this roadmap came out of those notes plus a lot of research on how to order the nodes properly, from fundamentals all the way to deployment.
What's in it: a checklist at every node, questionnaires to test yourself, over 80 curated resource links, and real projects built on actual datasets. It starts by figuring out where you already are and points you to the right node instead of making you start from zero. Nodes stay locked until you finish the one before it, so the path stays honest.
This is the first version and it will keep growing. I'd like to hear what the experience feels like, what's missing, and what you'd want added.

These two photos were taken around the same time, and you can see the difference in the settings. One says 1/4s and the other 1/15, it's the shutter speed.

Shutter speed is how long a camera’s shutter stays open to let light hit the sensor. It’s measured in time, like 1/1000 sec, 1/60 sec, 1 sec, etc.

Turns out you can change your shutter speed on your phone (go to Pro mode or somewhere in "More" or "Settings") and adjust the shutter speed.

I set mine to the max, which was 10 seconds, and this is what I took. It took a full 10 seconds to make one image.

I've always wondered how they took such photos (long exposure photos, and thought it was only possible on big cameras).

You can see the difference as well in where we sleep.
I almost always use the site (every single day), which was cool to see myself using something I made.

I also found that sometimes there are these gaps, the same as his. It seems there's some scenario where I'm not getting push updates, which I wouldn't have caught with just my account only or would've taken me longer to find.

Some stats, like average waking time and sleeping time, might not be accurate.

I'm hoping to add more things to it, it's been useful so far.
