🇺🇿 The Dedication of Green University Team Receives High Recognition

On August 28, 2026, Green University held a ceremony to honor its employees with a commemorative badge marking the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the ceremony, Dr. Bakhtiyor Pulatov, Rector of Green University, presented the commemorative badges to 11 employees of Green University and its system organizations.

The fact that 3 foreign professors were among the recipients is a particular source of pride for the Green University team. It is a clear recognition of the valuable contribution that international specialists working at the university make to education, science, and the development of the university.

During the ceremony, the rector congratulated the recipients and emphasized that this recognition would serve as further motivation for them to pursue new achievements in their professional activities.

COP17: Investment Mobilization for Land Restoration Discussed

🔹As the 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17), taking place in Ulaanbaatar, a parallel event titled “From Investment to Results” was held at the Uzbekistan National Pavilion.

🔹The event brought together Aziz Abdukhakimov, Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Environmental Issues and Chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change; Dr. Tarifa Al Zaabi, Director General of ICBA; and Professor Bakhtiyor Pulatov, Rector of Green University.

The discussions focused on mobilizing investment for land restoration, strengthening climate resilience, and scaling up effective environmental solutions.

🔹Dr. Bakhtiyor Pulatov, rector of Green University, highlighted its contribution to scientific cooperation, capacity building and practical environmental solutions, including collaboration with ICBA and the AquaBio Lab platform.

🔹Ayni kunlarda Ulan-Bator shahrida bo‘lib o‘tayotgan BMTning Cho‘llanishga qarshi kurash to‘g‘risidagi konvensiyasi Tomonlar konferensiyasining 17-sessiyasi (UNCCD COP17) doirasida O‘zbekiston Milliy pavilyonida “Investitsiyalardan natijalarga” mavzusida parallel tadbir bo‘lib o‘tdi.

🔹Tadbirda O‘zbekiston Respublikasi Prezidenti maslahatchisi, Milliy qo‘mita raisi Aziz Abduhakimov, ICBA Bosh direktori doktor Tarifa Al Zaabi hamda Green University rektori professor Baxtiyor Pulatov ishtirok etdi.

Muhokamalar degradatsiyaga uchragan yerlarni tiklash uchun investitsiyalarni jalb etish, iqlimga chidamlilikni oshirish va samarali ekologik yechimlarni keng miqyosda joriy etishga qaratildi.

🗣️A new scientific article has been published by Farida Kuldasheva, Head of the “Ecological Sciences and Sustainable Development” Department at Green University, PhD in Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor.

▶️Bugun, 5-may kuni Kasb va mehnat kuni munosabati bilan Kasbiy ta’lim agentligi tomonidan tashkil etilgan“Kasblar festivali” “Alpomish” muz saroyida muvaffaqiyatli o‘tkazildi.

🗣Green University vakillari festivalda faol ishtirok etib, turli yo‘nalishlarda amaliy va interaktiv mashg‘ulotlarda qatnashdilar. Ular tadbir davomida katta qiziqish, faollik va yuqori ishtiyoq namoyon etdilar.

Festival doirasida maxsus kasb-hunar yarmarkasi ham tashkil etildi. Unda Green University faol ishtirok etgan ta’lim muassasalaridan biri sifatida taqdim etildi. Universitet tomonidan akademik dasturlar, qabul imkoniyatlari, talabalar loyihalari hamda kampus hayoti tanishtirildi va bu tashrif buyuruvchilarda katta qiziqish uyg‘otdi.

🚨On April 29, Green University welcomed a delegation from Tottori University (Japan), led by Vice President Atsushi Tsunekawa.

The meeting focused on expanding cooperation in climate action, sustainable agriculture, and environmental protection, with particular attention to water resource management and combating desertification.

Memorandum of Understanding Signed between Green University and ICBA

🤝On May 4, 2026, a meeting was held between the Rector of Green University, Professor Bakhtiyor Pulatov, and a delegation led by Dr. Tarifa Alzaabi, Director General of ICBA, during which a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.

The parties discussed the establishment of a “Spirulina” laboratory at Green University within an environmental project in Karakalpakstan, as well as the expansion of scientific cooperation and research activities.

They also agreed on the establishment of the laboratory and the supply of modern equipment through grant funding.
