BENEFIT: Together We Are Stronger

UNITY upon the truth is an OBLIGATION:

{وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا}

“Hold firmly to the rope of Allāh all together and do not become divided.” [Āl ʿImrān: 103]

DISUNITY, on the other hand, is FORBIDDEN—it leads to WEAKNESS and FAILURE:

{وَأَطِيعُوا اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ}
“Obey Allāh and His Messenger, and do not dispute with one another, lest you lose courage and your strength departs.” [Al-Anfāl: 46]

PRINCIPLES for Maintaining Unity (Brotherhood & Sisterhood)

1️⃣ Spread Salām

The Prophet ﷺ said: “You will not enter Paradise until you love one another. Shall I tell you something that will make you love one another? Spread Salam among yourselves.”

The Prophet ﷺ instructed us to greet both those we know and those we don’t. “Salam” is one of Allāh’s names—spread it generously among you.

* If someone doesn’t respond:

1. Repeat the Salam up to three times to ensure they heard.
2. If there’s still no reply, the angels will respond.

2️⃣ Accept Excuses & Apologies

Accept your brother’s apology when it seems reasonable.

Ibn Al-Qayyim said: “True humility means accepting a person’s excuse—whether true or false—and leaving their inner intention to Allāh.”

This purifies the heart and strengthens bonds.

3️⃣ Verify Before Rebuking

The Prophet ﷺ verified matters before correcting others.

Example: when Abu Dharr once insulted someone’s mother, the Prophet ﷺ confirmed the incident before rebuking him.

4️⃣ Overlook Minor Mistakes

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I served the Prophet ﷺ for ten years. He never said to me, ‘Why did you do that?’ for something I did, nor ‘Why didn’t you do that?’ for something I didn’t do.”

Al-ḥilm (forbearance) is true strength: choosing not to punish/take revenge when you are able to.

5️⃣ Help Your Brother

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever can help his brother should do so.”

He also said: “Allāh will continue to help His servant as long as the servant helps his brother.”

6️⃣ Think Well of Others

Allāh ﷻ says: “Avoid much suspicion, for some suspicion is sin.”

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Beware of suspicion—it is the most false of speech.”

Don’t assume the worst without clear proof. If someone openly does wrong, caution is allowed, but don’t let baseless suspicion take root.

7️⃣ Love for Others What You Love for Yourself

Treat people the way you wish to be treated.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever wishes to be saved from the Fire and enter Paradise should love for others what he loves for himself.”

8️⃣ Express Love for the Sake of Allah

The Prophet ﷺ said: “If one of you loves his brother, let him tell him.”

When someone says, “I love you for the sake of Allah,” reply: “May the One for whose sake you love me also love you.”

9️⃣ Smile and Be Cheerful

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not belittle any good deed—even meeting your brother with a smiling face.”

🔟 Visit One Another for Allah’s Sake

Allah loves those who visit each other purely for His sake.

The Prophet ﷺ said: A man visited his brother in another town, and Allah sent an angel to tell him that Allah loves him for that act.

1⃣1️⃣ Give Sincere Advice

True advice means sincerely wanting good for the person you advise.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The rights of a Muslim over another are six… and if he asks you for advice, give him sincere advice.”

Ibn Al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:

((نُورٌ يَقْذِفُهُ اللهُ فِي قَلْبِ عَبْدِهِ يُفَرِّقُ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْحَقِّ وَالْبَاطِلِ وَالْحَالِي وَالْعَاطِلِ وَالصَّادِقِ وَالْكَاذِبِ))

“It is a light which Allah places in the heart of His servant, by which he distinguishes between truth and falsehood, right and wrong, and the truthful and the untruthful.”

[Madarij As-Salikin 2/453]

He then mentioned remarkable incidents regarding the firaasah of his teacher, Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله).

He (رحمه الله) wrote:

“I witnessed astonishing examples of the firaasah of Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, and what I did not witness was even greater—accounts that would require a large volume to record.

He informed his companions that the Tartars would invade Ash-Sham in the year 699H, how the Muslim armies would be defeated, and how there would be no indiscriminate killing or captivity in Damascus, and that the army’s main concern would be wealth. All of this occurred before the Tartars had even decided to set out.

He then informed the people and rulers in 702H, as the Tartars advanced towards the Levant, that they would be defeated and that victory would be for the Muslims. He swore by this more than seventy times. People asked him to say ‘inshaAllah,’ and he replied: ‘inshaAllah—in the sense that it will occur, not in the sense that it is merely possible.’

He also informed me on several occasions of private matters I intended to do but had not told anyone about. He likewise mentioned major future events without specifying their dates, some of which I have witnessed, while others I still await.”

Similar to Ibn Al-Qayyim, I wish to relay some contemporary examples of firaasah relating to my Sheikh hafidhahullah:

1⃣. While still in Dammaj, years before the Houthis went on to seize the capital of Yemen, Sana’a, Shaykh Yahya (حفظه الله) warned against them, saying:

“Our brothers—may Allah honour them and brighten their faces—have increased in dignity and are at ease. As for the Rafidah, we advise anyone listening not to incline towards them, neither now nor later. By Allah, if they gain control, they will not be satisfied until they interfere in Sana’a. And if they take control of Sana’a, they will not be satisfied until they do to him what was done to Saddam; they will hang him (i.e., Ali Abdullah Saleh) as they hanged Saddam. Perhaps the Houthis will bring him and hang him in front of the people. They currently have several strategies: first, direct attack; second, media campaigns and boasting; and third—if the attack fails—sniping from a distance. But if both attack and sniping are repelled, they resort to reconciliation while continuing killings.” [ https://t.me/khawaaaaatir]

He cited two matters:

1. He said that if the Houthis were not stopped, they would go on to invade Sana’a. This later happened, even though at the time, their only demand was control of Sa’dah province in northern Yemen.

2. He also said they would go on to kill President Ali Abdullah Saleh—and this is exactly what occurred.

4⃣. The Sheikh said: "Some people have gone to extremes. You find them constantly speaking only of "manhaj, manhaj, manhaj..."—and before you know it, they have deviated onto another path, aligning themselves with the Khawārij and the enemies of the Sunnah and the scholars." Examples of this are many, the most recent being Muhammad Faaiz As-Sindi (may Allah guide him), who previously followed a “hot manhaj” approach and has now aligned himself with the Khawarij, going on to declare takfir on scholars and Muslim rulers.

BENEFIT: Causes for Steadfastness and the Repelling of Evils

Ibn Taymiyyah - may Allah have mercy on him - said:

- One should adopt a regular portion of Dhikr (remembrance) during the day and at the time of sleep.

- One should be patient regarding the obstacles and distractions that confront him. Indeed, it will not be long before Allah strengthens him with a spirit from Himself and writes faith in his heart.

- One should be eager to complete the obligatory five daily prayers, both inwardly and outwardly, for they are the pillar of the religion.

- Let his constant habit be the recitation of: 'La hawla wala quwwata illa billaah' (There is no might nor power except by Allah ('s permission), for by it, heavy burdens are borne, terrors are endured, and lofty states are attained.

- One should not grow weary of supplication and requesting, for a servant is answered as long as he is not hasty, saying: 'I have supplicated and supplicated, but I have not been answered.'

- Let him know that victory comes with patience.

- And that relief comes with distress.

- And that with hardship, there is ease.

- No one attained any seal of goodness—be they a Prophet or those below them—except through patience.

BENEFIT: A Reminder On Sincerity in Daʿwah

The success of Daʿwah is not measured by numbers, followers, or subscribers.

It is measured by sincerity and correctness.

A person may gather thousands, even hundreds of thousands, yet be a cause of misguidance if he speaks without knowledge or mixes the truth with innovation.

And a person may reach only one individual, yet that single soul is guided by the permission of Allāh so he attains immense good.

Allāh, the Most High, said: “Say: This is my way; I call to Allāh upon clear knowledge (baṣīrah), I and those who follow me.” (Yūsuf:108)

So the foundation of Daʿwah is knowledge and clarity, not popularity.

And the Prophet ﷺ said: “By Allāh, if Allāh guides one man through you, it is better for you than red camels.” (Agreed upon)

This shows that guiding even one person sincerely is more valuable than worldly gains and recognition.

How dangerous then is the affair of one who gains a large following, but misguides them introducing innovations, personal opinions, or distorted understandings of the religion?

The Prophet ﷺ warned: “Whoever calls to misguidance will have a burden of sin similar to those who follow him, without that diminishing their sins in the least.” (Muslim)

So it is not about who supports you, how many watch you, or which platform elevates you. Rather, it is about what you are conveying.

The Salaf were extremely cautious in speech.

ʿAbdullāh ibn Masʿūd رضي الله عنه said: “Follow and do not innovate, for you have been sufficed.”

And Imām Mālik رحمه الله said: “The last part of this Ummah will not be rectified except by that which rectified its first part.”

So the criterion is clear:
-> Is your daʿwah built upon the Qurʾān and authentic Sunnah?
-> Is it upon the understanding of the Salaf?
-> Is it free from desires, bias, and personal interpretation?

If a person produces content after content, but it does not soften the hearts, correct beliefs, and bring people out of heedlessness, then what true benefit has been achieved?

But if a single reminder reaches a heart and brings it back to Allāh then this is a tremendous success.

So let the caller to Allāh renew his intention:
Not for numbers.
Not for praise.
Not for recognition.

But for Allāh alone.

And we ask Allāh to grant us sincerity in speech and action, and to make us keys to goodness and barriers against evil.

“And they were not commanded except to worship Allāh, being sincere to Him in religion…”
(al-Bayyinah :5)

📝📝📝📝📝📝 ⚠️ Don’t Stop Speaking Out Against Tabarruj, Free Mixing, and Public Display of Beautification

Their danger to the Muslim society is real and severe.

🔊 Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Aal ash-Shaykh رحمه الله said:

"Every individual must stop the women under his care from displaying themselves openly (sufur) and from free mixing (ikhtilat), because the trial of women is a serious one."

📍The Prophet ﷺ said:

“I have not left behind me any fitnah more harmful to men than women.”

These issues require:

- Constant advice and reminders
- Putting in serious effort to warn the people
- Explaining their harms
- Persisting in doing so
- And seeking the help of those in authority and influence — so that, perhaps, Allah may guide those who have gone astray.

📢 Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymīn رحمه الله also said:

"It is obligatory upon the students of knowledge to take a stand against free mixing — to write about it in the newspapers, speak about it in the mosques and gatherings, and make it absolutely clear that it is ḥaram and not allowed at all!"

Among the benefits extracted from the hadith of https://t.me/womensbenefits is loving a person can lead you to become blind of that person’s mistakes.

Abu Zar' treated his wife badly by divorcing her, yet that did not stop her from praising him greatly—almost to the point of exaggeration.

Al-Hafidh says: love hides everything. When you love something, it can make you “blind and deaf.” This woman still loved her first husband even though he divorced her. She later married another man who loved her, yet she continued to praise the first one. Even though he hurt her, her heart remained attached to him.

As the poet Abu Tammam said:

كَم مَنزِلٍ في الأَرضِ يَألَفُهُ الفَتى * وَحَنينُهُ أَبَداً لِأَوَّلِ مَنزِلِ

“A person may love many homes on earth, but his longing is always for the first home.”

Another poet said:

وعين الرضا عن كل عيب كليلة * كما أن عيب السخط تبدي المساويا .

“The eye of contentment is blind to every fault, just as the eye of anger reveals all flaws.”

This means: if you are pleased with someone, you may see their faults as if they are good qualities, and think they are perfect. Some people describe a friend in such glowing terms that you imagine someone truly exceptional—but when you meet him, he is not as described. It is simply because of love.

On the other hand, if someone dislikes a person, they focus on every mistake and flaw. Yet when you actually meet that person, they may be much better than what was said about them.

So love can make a person blind and deaf to faults.

رسالة إلى محمد الإمام من أحد طلابه

الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله،
وعلى آله وصحبه ومن والاه، أما بعد:

يا شيخ محمد، أكتب إليك هذه الرسالة وقلبي يعتصر
ألمًا ووجعًا شديدًا، والله المستعان.فما بين الفينة والأخرى نسمع من بعض مشايخنا وخطبائنا ممن يُحسبون على دعوتك تقديم التنازلات تلو التنازلات للحوثيين،
لقد رأينا من يمدحهم، ومن يثني عليهم، ومن يدعو لهم بالحفظ والتوفيق، ومن يعزيهم، بل ومن يصلي على جنائزهم، حتى وصل الأمر إلى الصلاة على حسن نصر الله! ورأينا من يحث الناس على الذهاب إلى المراكز الصيفية الحوثية، ومن يشكرهم علنًا،ومن يعزيهم في موت حكومتهم ويتأسف على ذلك،ومن يمدح الهادي ويعتبره امام، وهذه الأمور كلها لا تخفى عليكم، وكلها بسبب الوثيقة التي كتبتموها مع عبد الملك الحوثي.
فيا شيخ محمد، إلى متى؟! إلى متى هذا التنازل والذل والهوان؟ بالله عليك، هل ترضى أن ينشأ أبناؤنا على محبة عبد الملك الحوثي؟ هل ترضى أن يتربوا على مدح الحوثيين والاعتقاد بأنهم "ولاة أمر شرعيون" يجب الدعاء لهم في كل خطبة جمعة؟
لقد بلغك ما قاله الشيخ نعمان الوتر في تلك المقابلة التلفزيونية، وبلغك ما قاله الشيخ نصر جربان في لقاء المولد النبوي حينما أثنى على سيدهم عبد الملك. وفي المقابل، نرى أصحاب الشيخ يحيى الحجوري وطلابه لا يقدمون مثل هذه التنازلات التي يقدمها بعض تلاميذك والمقربين منك.
خذ مثلاً عبد الباسط الريدي، الذي جاءه الحوثيون في مركز سعوان بصنعاء، وطلبوا منه وثيقة كتلك الوثيقة، فقال لهم: إما أن تتركونا نعلم كتاب الله وسنة رسوله ولا نؤذيكم ولا تؤذونا، أو افسحوا لنا الطريق ونغادر المركز، وخذوه لكم. وقد عُرف هذا عنه بين أصحاب الشيخ الحجوري وحتى بين طلاب مركز معبر. وكذلك مراكز أخرى مثل مركز الفتح، ومركز بشائر الخير، ومركز المطار، لم تقدّم تنازلات كتلك.
فيا شيخ محمد، نحن ممن تتلمذنا على يديك، ودرسنا عندك، وتابعنا خطبك ومحاضراتك، وكنا نلحق بك إلى القرى والمناطق التي تخرج اليها، فما هذا الحال الذي أوصلتنا إليه؟ لقد أصبحنا نجلس تحت خطيب من أتباعك، ونحن نخشى أن نسمع مدحًا للحوثيين أو دعاء لهم من على منابر الجمعة، والله إن قلوبنا تتوجع لذلك وجعًا شديدًا.
نحن والله نحب أن ينصر الله الدين، وأن يخزي الرافضة ويذلهم، ولكن عندما نرى من يُحسب على السنة وهو يقدّم لهم التنازلات، يزداد ألمنا وحزننا.
فإلى متى هذا الذل والخزي والعار؟!
إلى متى يُمدح من يطعن في أم المؤمنين عائشة رضي الله عنها ويتهمها بالزنا؟!
إلى متى يُكرَّم من يكفر أبا بكر وعمر والصحابة رضي الله عنهم؟!
إلى متى يدعى لمن يلعن معاوية على الطرقات، ويسجن أهل السنة ويعذبهم؟!
إلى متى سنظل نتذرع بـ"الحكمة" و"الإكراه"؟! ألم تكن أرض الله واسعة ليهاجر المرء بدينه ويقيم شعائر ربه؟!
يا شيخ محمد، إن ما يحدث اليوم من تنازلات يوجع القلوب ويصدع النفوس. بل حتى الحوثيون أنفسهم يقولون إنكم تستعملون "التقية"، كما صرح عبد العظيم الحوثي وغيره في لقاءات متلفزة. فهم يعلمون حقيقتها، لكن الغرر والخداع يقع على أبناء المسلمين والجيل القادم.
وإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.

Hizbiyyah is Haraam

Question:
Some of the Hizbis say: What is your evidence for hizbiyyah [partisanship] being harām?

Shaykh Abū 'Amr 'Abdulkareem Al-Hajoori
There are many [evidences] in the Qur’ān:

{But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing}

{…they are the party of Shaytān..}

Allāh تعالى says:

{Verily, it is the party of Allāh that is successful}

{and do not be of those who associate others with Allah • Of those who split up their religion, each sect rejoicing in that which is with it.}

Allāh تعالى says:

{And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous.}

This [partisanship] is the cancer of the da’wah. Partisanship is the biggest calamity facing the Da’wah in this era! For verily, during the beginning affairs of the da’wah, it become widespread. However, it was attacked by partisanship! So it ripped, divided and cut the people!

The most knowledgeable person with regards to hizbiyyah in this era is our Shaykh Muqbil رحمه الله. He is from the greatest of people who fought against it, and likewise his students after him. For this reason, the da’wah of Salafiyyah is the most strong, pure and clean in Yemen by the Grace of Allāh سبحانه وتعالى. This is because it became distinct from this cancer (hizbiyyah).

Partisanship in this era is like Jahmiyyah at the time of Imām Ahmad, or like the Qadariyyah at the time of Ājurri! Hizbiyyah was used to harm the da’wah! It has taken whomsoever Allah wants to put to trial, and you can do nothing for him against Allah.

So it is not appropriate for one who possesses knowledge to say:

“What is the evidence for hizbiyyah [being harām]?” Hizbiyyah is present today!

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The Jews were split up into seventy-one or seventy-two sects; and the Christians were split up into seventy one or seventy-two sects; and my ummah will be split up into seventy-three sects.” This hadīth has come from a number of companions and it is an authentic narration.

Our Shaykh Muqbil رحمه الله would say:

“The pillars of hizbiyyah (partisanship) is three:

📌 Lying
📌 Deception
📌 Fraudulence”

This is the speech of an Imām رحمه الله who has experience [in this matter], you will never find a hizbi except he lies!

Some of the Salaf would say:

“Bring me a small Zaydi, and I shall bring out a big Rāfidhi from him!”

Bring a hizbi who doesn’t lie, this is not possible. Except if he is from the common folk, and is affected by them. We have previously taken that they [common folk] are not added to the people of innovation, nor should one deal with them like how he should with the people of innovation.

As for the individual who drank from hizbiyyah [then he is not excused]. By Allāh, you will never find a hizbi except you will find with him lies, and he will say:
“Come! Explain it to me!” And he wants to snatch you!

They have dangerous approaches and tactics! We thank Allāh سبحانه وتعالى, our Shaykh Muqbil رحمه الله would say:

“Yemen is the graveyard of the Hizbis!”

Yes! They are buried there and they die there, and they have no effect. As for other than Yemen, then hizbiyyah is firmly settled there.

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

"ونحن..نوالي علماء المسلمين، ونتخيَّر من أقوالهم ما وافق الكتاب والسنة ونزِنُها بهما، لا نزِنُهما بقول أحدٍ، كائنًا من كان، ولا نتَّخذ من دون الله تعالى ورسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم رجلًا يصيب ويخطئ، فنتبعه في كل ما قال، ونمنع - بل نحرِّم - متابعة غيره في كلِّ ما خالفه فيه. وبهذا أوصانا أئمة الإسلام، فهذا عهدُهم إلينا، فنحن في ذلك على منهاجهم وطريقهم وهديهم؛ دونَ من خالفنا، وبالله تعالى التوفيق."

"We...support and respect the scholars of Islam, and we choose from their opinions what agrees with the Qur’an and the Sunnah. We use these two to judge their views—we do not judge the Qur’an and Sunnah by anyone’s words, whoever they may be.

We do not take anyone besides Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) as a person who is always right or wrong and then follow everything they say, while forbidding—rather, declaring it prohibited—to follow others when they differ from him.

This is what the leaders of Islam advised us to do. This is their legacy to us. We follow their path, their method, and their guidance—not those who go against it. And success comes from Allah."
