TOEFL ZONE

Hi everyone!
I’m really happy to share that I scored 110/120 on the February 28 toefl 5.0 in reading, 6.0 in listening, 5.5 in writing, and 5.0 in speaking. I’m truly grateful for this result.
The practice tests were a big part of my preparation. Even when my mock scores were slightly different, they helped me understand the structure of the exam and recognize exactly where I needed to improve. That clarity made me feel much more prepared on test day.
For the Build a Sentence task, time management is very important. The sentences may look simple, but the time limit is tight. If you get confused or feel stuck, try to form the best possible sentence and move forward. You can always come back if there’s time left. Staying calm makes a huge difference.
Regarding the Listen and Repeat task, don’t stress if you miss a word or two. I’m sure I didn’t repeat one sentence perfectly, but what really matters is conveying the overall meaning clearly. Focus on pronunciation, fluency and confidence rather than trying to be 100% word for word perfect.
Listening overall felt manageable. Just don’t overthink your answers. Trust your first understanding.
Finally, I sincerely want to thank Metages Mesfin @Meti_2323 for the continuous support, detailed feedback, and encouragement. I took his lessons 20 days ago his guidance truly helped me achieve this score, and I’m very grateful.

I just got my Toefl results which I took on February 28 exam. To be honest, the listening section was really challenging for me and also I walked out feeling unsure about speaking too. But somehow, I managed to get a 5 and I am so grateful.
Thank you for all your support. Your sessions truly helped me more than I can say. I wish you continued success with your other students. They are in great hands.

Sending warm wishes to my Muslim TOEFL students for a wonderful Aftr time in Turkey.

I’m confident you can tackle the TOEFL with ease.

To those brilliant minds who can grasp anything quickly and amaze everyone with your intelligence, I know how frustrating it feels when a small mistake can set you back. But remember, even the brightest stars stumble sometimes. Every setback is temporary, and every challenge is a step closer to your goal.
I want you to know that I am right here with you, guiding you, supporting you, and believing in you until you reach the score you’ve been aiming for. Don’t let a minor slip define your journey. Your hard work, dedication and talent will shine through. Keep going. Keep shining!

For those of you who have TOEFL sessions with me today,

Today is a very meaningful national holiday for us in Ethiopia. We are celebrating the Victory of Adwa which took place on March 1, 1896.
On this day, our ancestors, led by Emperor Menelik II and Empress Taytu Betul, defeated the invading army of Italy. At a time when many African nations were being colonized, Ethiopia stood united and defended its freedom.
Because of this historic victory, Ethiopia was never colonized. Adwa is more than just a battle for us. It represents unity, courage, independence and national pride. It’s a day that reminds us of who we are and what our country stood for during a very challenging period in history.

And as TOEFL students, this is also a small reminder for you to study history. You never know a topic like this could appear in an academic listening lecture or even in a reading passage.
In observance of this special holiday, I won’t be holding our TOEFL session today. We will continue with our lessons in our next scheduled class.
Thank you.
